    Education or treatment

    Complete the recommended program with a qualified provider.

    Follow-up evaluation

    Your SAP confirms you've successfully completed the recommendation.

    Return-to-duty test

    Your employer arranges a directly observed test before reinstatement.

    Follow-up testing plan

    A minimum of 6 unannounced tests in the first 12 months — for up to 5 years.
